Skype Beta 4.0

I've been thinking what to blog really. I have another blog site that I update rarely because I just write about things that reminds me of something, something meaningful. Many of my friends blog, I blog at Friendster often, posts two or three in a day but I stopped. I dunno what made me stop, I just found my self not blogging at all.

Today, June 28, 2008, I'll be tendering my resignation in the company where I work, and just earlier I finished a project demo with my client in the US, we're using Skype to talk with our clients off-shore. I'm using the new version of Skype, Skype 4 Beta. Pretty cool interface, i think they're making it look more like mIRC, so here a screen shot of the new skype:

It's still in Beta, so you might find some bug in the interface, but functionality-wise, I'm satisfied. Of course I made some adjustments on how the UI looks now, one is placing a bookmark for the chatrooms, leaving a chatroom, and with some new features that I still ought to know.

I dunno if it's already available in the earlier features of Skype but below are the list of commands you can use with the new Skype Beta 4.0:

You can play around with these commands with your Skype messenger. The one that I've been waiting to use is the "/leave" command. I'll be using it to leave our company public chatroom, before they eject and ban me in there, I'll do the initiative.
